The challenge
Before the implementation of Singlepoint, KRG grappled with high administration costs. An internal study revealed staggering costs associated with routine tasks:
- Non-conformance processing: £1,500
- Concessions: £600
- Technical reviews: £600
In the last 6 months of 2022 they raised:
- 51 NCR’s, cost of administration = £76,500
- 46 Concessions, cost of administration = £27,600
- 65 Technical reviews, cost of administration = £39,000
This resulted in a total administration cost of £143,100
Our solution
When Singlepoint was integrated as KRG’s Quality Management System, the primary focus was on time efficiency, reporting and overall quality management.
Among the many modules within Singlepoint, KRG utilised the Issue Manager, Calibration Manager and Audit modules. These were crucial in addressing the company’s challenges, particularly in compliance and administrative aspects.
The Results
Since implementation, Singlepoint has halved the administration cost in relation to time, reporting and management.
At their last LRQA ISO 9100D audit, Singlepoint’s Issue Manager, Calibration Manger and Audit modules were all audited and found to be fully compliant with the requirements of the ISO standards.
“The company has recently implemented a QMS system “Singlepoint” This will greatly enhance the effectiveness of the company systems with full integration across all functional areas, thus removing the need to maintain company spreadsheets and databases.”
