FAQs

What are the key capabilities of supplier relationship management software?

There are several ‘moving parts’ to track and manage in the supplier relationship; up to date key documentation such as legal documents, commercial contracts, quality, health and safety, supplier performance, audit actions etc. When you then multiply that by the number of suppliers you have, supplier management is clearly a very challenging process. Supplier Management software aims to automatically track and manage all of the key actions and tasks relevant to each supplier and to assemble the full historic record, broken down into segments, for each individual supplier. Real time reporting is also very important as this will provide valuable insights into the factual performance of your suppliers which in turn helps to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

What is supplier management software?

Supplier Management software provides a centralised location for all of your suppliers’ key documentation. It also helps you track and manage which documents are coming up for review and renewal and which suppliers’ documents are out of date and / or missing.

Singlepoint Supplier Management will automatically email your colleagues and suppliers when actions become due. Fully integrated into the other Singlepoint modules – this allows you to create seamless links from your key business processes and feed into a formal lessons learned system.

Does Singlepoint supplier management include reporting?

Our supplier management module helps you see summary information at a glance through our Radar Business Intelligence module. A whole range of reports can be designed in our reporting and dashboarding tools, including a supplier summary report.
